Yoga Teacher vs Yoga Therapist
Although Cam & Lauren provide similar services, they have different approaches and credentials to help you meet your goals.
Lauren is an experienced, IAYT-certified yoga therapist. To clarify, let’s outline the difference between a yoga therapist and a yoga teacher:
A yoga teacher is a yoga professional with a minimum 200-hour certification credential focusing on the practices and lineage of yoga to present in a class setting.
A yoga therapist has an 800-1000 hour training credential from the IAYT. A yoga therapist is a specialist with specific training in how to provide yoga practices safely to specific populations in order to help reduce symptoms.
