Welcome to Thread Yoga + Wellness!
(This is our first post, and if you’re visiting from EveryMan Yoga, this is my second blog, and this post will be featured on both sites.)
That being said, I think it’s important to address a couple of things:
First, I am not abandoning EMY, even though I’ve been pretty inactive lately. Lauren and I started this page as part of our long-term plan to implement an online wellness clinic.
Having just recently transplanted back to California, we figured what better time than now to put our little Thread into the Universe to see what comes of it.
Rather, we have created this as a sister site to the OG EveryMan Yoga site. A lot of the content I post will be posted on both platforms, but we will be taking slightly different approaches on both.
Yin and Yang, so to speak.
Secondly, I will be taking a slightly different approach to what I am doing, and it’s going to revolve largely around transparency. I want to put myself out there in the most abundantly honest and transparent possible way.
For that reason, I will be creating content daily, for better or for worse, in short form and sharing this journey with you in real-time.
There have been a lot of emotional, spiritual and motivational struggles in my world lately, and the best way I can help others right now is to offer insight through my own stuff.
As for Lauren, she’ll be creating her own content, and you can follow us together as you please. We share many of the same passions, but we also have enough differences of approach and opinion to make things interesting.
So for this first post, THANK YOU for reading. This is the very beginning of a long journey for us. Namaste, and we look forward to growing alongside you.
